Point to Point adapter kit

The HandyPort is a 2.4GHz ISM wireless cable replacement for RS–232 devices. Plug one HandyPort into your RS–232 device (electronic display, magnetic card reader, bar code reader, etc) and the other into your PC and you have a wireless replacement for your serial cable, with a range of up to 100m.

Using the HandyPort is very simple. The two units, in this kit, are supplied ‘pre–paired’ and there is no software to install on your PC.

Power for the HandyPort, attached to your PC, is supplied by one of your PCs spare USB ports, using the cable provided in the kit. Power for the other HandyPort (attached to your RS-232 device) can be supplied in one of two ways: From an external- VDC power adapter (not provided in the kit) or via the DB9 connector, from the RS-232 devices own power supply.

Point to Multi Point Kit

The Bluetooth compliant HPU–120 is a USB (1.1 compliant) module, which enables Point–to–multi point wireless communication. The HPU–120 can be used in conjunction with up to 7 Bluetooth devices e.g. PC, Laptop, PDA, Mobile Telephone etc to a range of up to 100m in a master/slave wireless network.
